Coaching in schools
Gérard School of Football provides high quality curriculum and extra curriculum services in specialist football performance coaching to both primary and secondary schools in the Hull & East Riding of Yorkshire region for boys and girls aged from 5-14.
We are an accredited football coaching provider for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Sports & Play Development Service as part of the East Riding Sports Business Approved Scheme and currently in the process of finalising our exceptionally high standards to become a Hull City Council Accredited Coaching Provider as part of the Accredited Coach Provider System for Hull City Council.
Every member of our coaching staff each holds a Gérard School of Football enhanced CRB which is approved by Hull City Council through an Umbrella application for Gérard School of Football from Hull City Council Lead Counter signatory / Head of Safeguarding with each coach being involved in a Quality Selection Check prior to delivering any activities on behalf of Gérard School of Football by GSF Head CRB Officer and Hull City Council.
Gérard School of Football practices exceptionally high safeguarding children policies and procedures whilst delivering activities in schools by ensuring that the following GSF Check List Guide / Recommendations are covered for the safe running of in school and out of school hours learning opportunities such

as Gérard School of Football will visit any school in the region wishing to offer their football mad pupils a chance to benefit from and take part in a min. 4-week technical development & ball mastery program that also incorporates physical and mental conditioning.
Charges start from £25 for 1 hour session per YR Group (min. 10 children for group coaching sessions). We provide all the equipment for all our sessions as well as a highly skilled and qualified coach.
Gérard School of Football are particularly interested to work with schools that boast both suitable indoor and outdoor facilities for the use of holiday courses and school term programs which we currently offer throughout the year open to the local communities in the region.
We are also interested in setting up GSF Clubs which will form direct links between GSF and Schools.
This allows your pupils to join our official GSF Club and receive regular football coaching from our team of staff during school hours and after school where they can talk fun, football and everything related to healthy living and staying fit and active! Here they can make new friends, learn more about healthy living, nutrition, student-athlete regeneration and much much more!
They can learn more about football and will be in a fun environment that can enhance their personal character, technical, physical and mental development and be able to play game related activities against other schools who have already signed up to our program which could see your school compete for the Hull & Humber Best GSF Club Competition and win cash prizes worth up to £1000. We are committed to helping UK children to lead healthier lives through exercise, sport and a healthy diet which is why we are an official supporter and partner of the Change 4 Life Campaign.
